‘He’s Grandpa or Pops All the Time’: Oldest Presidents Cup player in Team USA pours beans on Flack he receives from teammates

PGA Tour member Kevin Kisner is ready to drive his opponents crazy at the 2022 Presidents Cup. He is the oldest member of the team, yet his spirit is young and high. Kisner is ready to ignite the world of golf with its swings. However, he does have some experiences to share.

Since he is the eldest on the team, the younger members of the team try to have some harmless fun and laugh at jokes about his style and gameplay.

During the press conference, 38-year-old Kevin Kessner was asked how it feels, being the oldest on the USA Presidents Cup team.

in his words, “…it’s grandpa or pops all the time and how short I hit.” He said the team always talks about his age. The only time they might outgrow him is because he always works hard and pushes himself.

Hence, he is a “grandfather” all the time due to the short duration of Kessner’s access to him. But everyone on the team laughs a lot at that.

During the match, Kisner did not like when the player he was playing against is behind him and suddenly starts clicking in front. It’s an aging mentality thing for the golfer. In fact, Kisner loves to get back out there and hit unexpected shots. He has high hopes of playing many amazing shots against his opponent.

Kevin Kesner is a Presidents Cup veteran with a proven track record in international competitions. He will appear for the second time in the Presidents Cup, although he has yet to compete on the Ryder Cup team. After winning four PGA rounds, Kisner knows how to play against big-name competitions and often comes out on top in the match game.

Kevin Kesner may not have had any wins this year, but he has made five of the top 10. Includes WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play at Austin Country Club in 2019. Also, in the 2017 Presidents Cup, he went 2-0-2 and trimmed the singles game to half. He’s proven that even when he doesn’t come out on top, he’s still a competitive player.
