Entry list, TV schedule for Sunday’s race

Kevin Harvick’s win in Michigan pushed the number of winning drivers in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series to 15, leaving one spot available with three regular season races left.

First, the short track in Richmond, where Denny Hamlin beat Harvick as the two rocketed across the field on new tires during the final round. Sunday’s race favorite, according to BetMGM, is Martin Truex Jr., who was the driver who was pushed out of the deciding picture with Harvick’s victory.

Truex Jr. lags behind. Ryan Blaney is 19 points behind the regular season standings for last place on the Wild Card. Blaney is second in regular season points, and Truex is fourth. But neither can win, and either of them can snatch a berth in the playoff with victory over the next three weekends.

August is going to be fun.
