Steph Curry just bought a new spot more than 2,800 miles from where the Golden State Warriors make their Bay Area home.
Warriors ranger and his wife, Aisha, just bought a $2.1 million home in Winter Park, Florida, near the venue of the Orlando Magic. The spacious home is tucked away in a residential neighborhood and packed with amenities, though it’s not clear what attracts the couple to move around the country, the Charlotte Observer reported in a July 16 story.

New and spacious place in Cary
The new Currys home is 4,242 square feet and has plenty of amenities for their family of five. The Charlotte Observer notes that the couple already owns a much larger mansion near the Bay Area, a $31 million mansion in San Mateo County, but the new home in Florida is still very spacious.
According to Zillow, the home on Edwin Boulevard includes four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a kitchen with six gas burners, two ovens, and a built-in espresso machine. The two-story, single-family home also has crown moldings, solid wood cabinets, wet rails, stone counters, tray ceilings, vinyl fencing, a gas fireplace, and wardrobes, according to the Observer.
Some found the purchase curious because the Carrie family had no known ties to the area. The Orlando Business Journal notes that the area has become a popular spot for athletes and that home prices have more than doubled since 2015, the last time Curry’s home was purchased. Curry paid nearly double the $1.06 million that was paid in 2015. The report indicated that the price Curry paid was still lower than expected given the growth of real estate in the area.
