First Division Boys

Hamilton lost the 2020 state champion, and third place in 2021, Mahant Cherravouri To USC but the Huskies bring back the 2021 state champion Vincent Cervantes and 2021 runner-up Anawin Bikulthong Together with 2021 fourth medal White Chapman.

Hamilton has won his last three singles titles (Johnnie Walker, Chirravuri and Cervantes) to keep up with the last three state championships. This year looks good for winning the 10th Program and the 9th Head Coach Cup Steve Kanner.

Cervantes could be the first repeat champion in the first or second division since Hamilton CJ Kim He won in 2008 and 2009. The stadium is so stacked there have only been nine repeat champions at the highest level since 1939.

Section two boys

Only three of last year’s 12 medalists graduated including state runners-up Rylan Johnson Williams Field (Oregon) so the field is wide open. Williams Field won the team title for the first time in the program’s history, but history has also shown that the D-II Cup has been difficult to hold over the past three years.

Higley won its first tag team championship in 2019 and the Cactus Shadows won in 2020 for the first time since 1999. Arcadia won in 2017 and 2018 and the team has been in the top three ever since.

Look out for Williams Field, Arcadia and Saguaro to play it this year alongside Notre Dame Prep. Former Notre Dame star Nicholas Losol III He won in 2007 and 2008. He was the last D-II golfer to repeat. Ironwood Ridge fore Briones Briones He won as a sophomore in 2021.
