17 NASCAR race cars heading to auction
For 2022, Brad Keselowski is signed to drive at the RFK Race. He also became co-owner of the newly named Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing.
NASCAR is setting a new trend for 2022. The next generation car is a chassis with identical specifications from team to team. The change made entire fleets of cars unusable for NASCAR teams.
Gen 6 cars are built by the teams themselves. Although it can no longer be used in the NASCAR Cup Series, it still has life in ARCA and the short track series across the country.
RFK Racing has chosen to put these cars up for auction.
Complete race cars, tool boxes, crash wagons, dig boxes, tools, machinery and parts are up for auction. 17 NASCAR race cars included in the auction.
Venue: RFK Racing LLC. 4600 Roche Place Concord, NC 28027
Brad Keselowski announced the auction on Wednesday, saying, “For you, this is a chance to own a piece of history… For us this is an opportunity to focus on the future. Starting tomorrow, we’re auctioning 100 lots from the safe.”
